Permission granted

Sometimes all we need is permission.

Here you go – you have my permission:

To go for it.
To reach for the stars.
To stick to it.
To hold that door.
To go the extra mile.
To expect the best.
To return rudeness with love.

Yes YOU Can

Christmas is behind us and the New Year is just a couple of days away. It’s a time of reflection on the past year, and a time of eager anticipation for the coming year.

I want to remind you of this:

YES YOU CAN!

A Christmas Blessing

Blessings to you this Christmas day!

Three memories I am grateful for that I hope will bless you.

Dad passing out gifts on Christmas Eve one at time: Our whole family would get together and Dad would pick a present from under the tree, call the name, and hand it to them.

Why I Believe in Christmas

Christmas 2016 is in the books. I would like to tell you why I believe in Christmas. It’s the first Christmas I can remember. It arrived just seven weeks after the deaths of my father and baby sister. To make matters worse, it was in the heart of the Great Depression.

How to get what you want

Do you know, I mean really know, what you want?

If you know what you want, do you know how to get it?

Here is a system for you that will help you get what you want.

A couple of things:

The system works when you do.

Show #443: The beautiful challenge of personal responsibility – with Dan Miller

This is The Ziglar Show, planet Earth’s core source for the fuel for success…hope and inspiration. This is episode 443, and I have something special for you. We’re going to hear 11 minutes of Zig Ziglar giving an overview of his personal story, which is profound. Then we’ll be joined by a student of Zig’s who had a very similar experience to Zig’s. the question is…why did these guys overcome every reason to fail? And what can that mean for us?

Who do you believe?

Who do you believe?

Do you believe what others say about you?

Do you believe what you say about you?

Do you believe what God says about you?

Who do you believe?

Eleanor Roosevelt said:

"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.

Family Time

This Christmas season I am very grateful for my family.

Which reminds me -- we don't have to wait until Christmas, or a birthday, or any other special occasion for that matter, to let our families know how much they mean to us.

Some lessons I learned from Dad:

Dad always hugged Mom first when he came home.

It’s a good thing I waited!

When it comes to setting goals and taking action –
“It’s a good thing I waited!” SAID NO ONE EVER
Gut check time.
Answer honestly.
Which one of these two options gives you the best chance of making 2017 a fantastic year?

Buried Treasure

A number of years ago, Mom and Dad decided to move from their house to a retirement community. This was a major down-size in space, so our whole family pitched in to help Mom and Dad decide what to keep, what to sell, what to give away, and what to throw away.

Don’t Quit

Don't let the mistakes and disappointments of the past direct and control your future.

There is an old, partially true statement that "quitters never win and winners never quit." I say "partially true" because people who quit did get started and that's the first step to success.
