The “Answer” to the Question

The “Answer” to the Question

Last week I asked you, our Zignificance readers, this question:

Which of these three things do you work on first?

The Mental

The Physical

The Spiritual

If you want the best chance of improving your life for the next 10 years, where do you start?

Several hundred of you replied! It took me a looooooong time to reply to everyone - but I am so grateful for your responses because I learned a lot and got some great insight from you.

Here is my answer on where you start and the sequence you go in.

First you work on the mental. Specifically, you choose the INPUT you are going to take into your mind.

The most powerful mental discipline is the discipline of choosing the right INPUT and guarding against the wrong INPUT.

Now this is where I "cheat" a little bit.

Our first mental INPUT choice should be to develop our spiritual selves. And this should happen about one second after we make the mental INPUT decision!

Yes, mental and spiritual are almost at exactly the same time.

When you start with the mental and the spiritual, your brain and your soul will almost immediately recognize that your capacity for growth is largely determined by your physical health.

Poor health, poor diet, lack of sleep, lack of exercise, etc., etc., etc. - all of these limit your mental and spiritual growth.

Almost immediately you start working on your physical.

So the real answer to this "trick" question is: You work on all three every day and your chances for success go up when you follow this sequence.

You are Born To Win, so go ahead and Live To Win!
