One of my favorite topics to speak about is Zombies!
Unfortunately, they are everywhere.
Zombies are simply disengaged people who are going through the motions.
According to Gallup, somewhere around 70% of the workforce is disengaged – in Ziglar terms, they are Zombies.
How to identify a Zombie:
- They show up barely on time
- They don’t participate in team meetings
- They leave early
- They are often distracted
- They check social media and their texts often
- They ignore others how ask for help
- They do the minimum required
- They just don’t care
- Why don’t Zombies care?
Because Zombies have no dreams.
The Zombie cure is simple – but not easy.
Zombies need a leader who cares about them. Who helps them discover their dreams.
Or, even better, if you are a Zombie you can cure yourself. Discover your Why – your dream – and realize that everything thing you do in your job and in your life is helping you to achieve your dream.
Now, work for a dream and not a paycheck!
