A few days ago I sent out a Zignificance email that started off with:
"The liberal thinkers drive me crazy when they say making a lot of money is wrong and that making a profit is evil."
I need to apologize for that. Many liberal thinkers believe strongly that making a profit is a very good thing.
It is always dangerous to paint such a broad stroke, and I did just that.
The good thing is I got well over 100 replies and tons of insight. Out of this has come a new quote that I think is closer to what I was trying to convey.
Let me know what you think about this quote:

I want to give a thank-you to Rabbi Daniel Lapin for inspiring this quote – Rabbi Lapin says it much better than I do.
Many of you pointed out that when you solve problems, the profit is not limited to the financial. I agree 100%. Financial profit provides you with the means to keep making an impact in others’ lives, which multiplies the intangible profits.
I want to share my appreciation for those of you who said, “Have you thought about looking at it this way?” This is heartfelt and what our nation is built on, and how we build bridges across oceans.
Stand up for what you believe in and always remember that what you say is important, but how you say it is even more important.
