Have your heard?

Have your heard?

Have you heard? The world is a pretty tough place. Life can be hard. Even worse, life is not fair. Things happen.

Knowing this, how do you prepare? What can you do today that will allow you to make the most of tomorrow?

This is why the physical spoke on the Wheel of Life is so important. Being in good physical shape allows you to better handle whatever life throws your way. Loss of a job. A setback in your business. An illness or an accident. All of these things stretch you thin.

Being in good physical shape gives us the extra energy and stamina we need to help us overcome what life throws at us.

Are you getting enough sleep? Enough exercise? Enough good, nutritious food?

If not, why not? Most of the time it's because we don't make these a priority. What are you going to do to change this?

You can start today. What if you set a goal to start really slowly and make a small change in your physical life? Something as small as five minutes of intentional movement twice a day. Do this the first week. Take a walk. Do a few push-ups or stretch.

Just move. Now, each week add either a little more time or a little more activity.

In just a few months you will be a brand new you.

A confession. My natural condition is "couch potato." I can sit for hours, happily working on my computer, not moving at all.

About eight weeks ago I decided it was time for a change. To move a bit more. I set a goal to do five sets of push-ups everyday. I started off with 5 sets of 10 each day. I did that for a week. Then, each week I decided to add a few more. Now I am up to 8 sets of 25 push-ups a day.

Here is the crazy thing - the incremental increase each week was far easier than I thought it would be. Each set of push-ups takes less than a minute.

What are you going to do? It doesn't really matter how small you start as long as you do it every day and add just a little bit extra each day.

You are Born To Win, so go ahead and Live To Win!
