Sharks’ Teeth and Golf Balls

Sharks’ Teeth and Golf Balls

Growing up, we went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, for our family vacations. My favorite thing to do at the beach was to hunt for sharks’ teeth. I loved finding those little shiny teeth!

The challenge was finding the first one! Dozens and dozens of times, I would bend over to pick one up only to discover it was a broken seashell.

Once I found the first one though, my eye knew what to look for. After that I would often find two at a time.

Dad didn’t care much for hunting sharks’ teeth, but he did love finding golf balls. He had an eye for it and would often comment as we drove the course that we were coming up on a hot spot. I

heard him yell more than once when he found a cluster!

My question for you: What are you looking for? It’s ok if it takes a while to figure out exactly how to identify what you are looking for – as long as it is the right thing!

Observation: You find sharks’ teeth at the beach, (but not all beaches have sharks’ teeth) and you find golf balls near golf courses.

Where are you going to find what you are looking for?

Look there.
