The right kind of embarrassing

The right kind of embarrassing

Mom and Dad were married 66 years.

As a young boy I can remember them holding hands and smooching.

When Dad would come home from a trip, his first stop was always to give Mom a hug and a kiss.

He opened every door for her and made it clear to all of us that she was his #1 priority.

Dad's love for Mom, and his displays of affection, were always the right kind of embarrassing. (As a 13-year-old, watching your parents hug and grab a quick kiss can be kind of embarrassing.)

When they traveled together, Dad always made sure he introduced Mom in every circumstance. When Dad traveled alone, he still always mentioned her in his presentations.

Dad was well known in our family for the "airport" call. Going to and coming home from the airport, he always called Mom -- and numerous times in between.

Why am I telling you all of this? Everything he did was a "little" thing that added up to an amazing marriage with 66 years of evidence to support it.

If you want the same kind of marriage for yourself, or for your kids, then I know you will benefit from Dad's audio program Courtship After Marriage.
