Have you ever heard the statement, “If I can do it, so can you”?
It gives you hope, doesn’t it? But it’s not the complete story.
It should say, “If I can do it, so can you, IF you do what I did.”
Dad was raised in Yazoo City, Mississippi. His dad died when he was just five years old. He was raised by a single mom with a fifth grade education.
His family was dirt poor and he was raised in the heart of the Great Depression. He never did well in school. He started work when he was six years old, selling peanuts on the street corner. He failed miserably in his first adult sales job. He discovered a success secret and had incredible success, and then failure, and then success, and then failure…
He then learned what true success was all about. The rest is history.
Dad said, “Never give a promise without a plan.” His famous quote “You are born to win, but in order to be the winner you were born to be, you must plan to win, prepare to win, and then and only then can you expect to win,” is based on the reality that you have to have a plan, and work the plan, in order to win.
Yes, if Zig can, you can – as long as you do what Zig did!
I am excited to announce a seminar where we are going to focus on people who overcame incredible odds to become successful, because they adopted the Ziglar philosophy and DID what Zig did.
One overcame a learning disability to own multiple businesses. One immigrated to the US, landing here with only nine dollars in his pocket. One was a professional salesperson whose life and family were transformed by a simple Zig practice. One overcame and is overcoming an alcohol addiction to build a $60 million business.
What do they have in common? They learned from Zig Ziglar what Zig learned and applied it in their own lives. Check out our seminar – Born To Win 2017: The Next Chapter Click here to learn more about attending this incredible event.
You are Born To Win, so go ahead and Live To Win!
