I am a born again Christian; Baptized on 12/17/17 at the age of 47 years old. I have been married for 23 years to my beautiful wife & best friend, Desi, and we have 3 amazing kids.

We own an extremely successful Martial Arts & Life Skills academy; Grogan’s Academy of Martial Arts in Edwardsville, IL. I host a very successful motivational podcast called “Kickin’Life – with Master Grogan”. I am a published author, Master Martial Arts Instructor & 6th Degree Black Belt with over 40 years of training, including 4 separate trips to South Korea for extensive training. I am a competitive athlete & coach, having played & coached hockey, baseball & football at all age levels. I have a degree in Kinesiology Education and taught P.E. for 11 years.

Ever since “getting a check up from the neck up” in 2012 (the first time I ever heard of Zig Ziglar), my car has truly become “Automobile University”. In that time I have listened to more than 300 audible books & CD’s, and have read another 200 books on personal development & success. I am now a better Christian, husband, father, mentor, coach, author, entrepreneur and Martial Artist than I’ve been my entire life.

I am honored beyond words to be a part of the Ziglar family; both as a ZLC Trainer & ZLC Coach. I have combined the priceless knowledge & wisdom of the Ziglar family with my 40 years of Martial Arts training to achieve my God given purpose of helping parents & empowering millions of kids around the world to be their personal best. By helping kids & adults gain the courage & confidence to stand up to bullying & stand out in the crowd with exceptional Manners, Discipline & Respect we are making our society a happier, healthier & safer place to live.
