Bob Alexander has a history of winning. Over the years he has helped countless others achieve the levels of success he demands of himself. Endowed from an early age with impressive self-discipline, Bob set out to achieve his dreams. What he has learned, he has also taught. In recognition of exceptional service to his community, his professional achievements and his superior leadership ability, Bob was selected as an "Outstanding Young Man of America' by Outstanding Americans. His background as a winning teacher, coach, and high school administrator has served him, and those fortunate enough to be taught by him, well.
To fulfill his goals for personal growth, Bob left the field of education to take on the challenge of sales. During his first year of selling he was Rookie Salesman of the Year and broke the all time rookie sales record at his company. He was soon promoted to area sales manager where he was recognized for being the second highest producer in the nation. His leadership skills enabled his area to become the top producing group in the nation. After being promoted to regional sales manager and then senior regional sales manager, Bob continued to receive accolades and awards. His "top producing regional manager in the nation" and top producing "senior regional manager in the nation" awards resulted in him being named the company's national sales manager.
As national sales manager, Bob prospected, hired, trained, motivated, scheduled conferences, selected product lines, established sales territories, and helped sales people develop and achieve goals for themselves and their organization. Because of his excellence in this position, Bob soon became vice-president of sales, where he helped literally hundreds of people achieve more than they ever thought possible.
Zig Ziglar personally invited Bob to join the Ziglar team in 1988 because Bob is a proven winner. After only sixteen months, he became our number one salesperson by setting a rookie sales record that still stands today. In 1990, he was promoted to general sales manager where his leadership skills and knowledge of the sales industry helped expand corporate sales.
Today, as President of The Alexander Resource Group, Bob continues traveling the country sharing his knowledge and experience, helping salespeople, customer service representatives, sales managers, business executives, and educators improve their attitudes, develop self-confidence, set specific goals, and live their dreams.
