Cindy Oates, Director of Customer Service
The heart of Ziglar, Cindy Oates ensures the same caring and loving one to one communication style Zig practices is integrated into the customer service division of Ziglar.
Cindy’s earliest “official” experience working at Ziglar dates back to when there were only three or four employees. It was then that Cindy registered people for the very first “Richer Life Course” which eventually became “Born to Win.”
Since then, Cindy has worked on and off for Ziglar, leaving once for a move out of state and a second time to do volunteer work with her therapy dog, Emmitt. Cindy took on her role as Director of Customer Service in 2007.
Today, Cindy enjoys her interaction with Ziglar followers. She is always available to assist attendees during Ziglar webcasts which cover personal development training, sales training, professional development and more. Bringing compassion and kindness to Ziglar customers who yearn for a better life, she helps clients who have true challenges, and solves problems with patience and grace.
On growing up The Ziglar Way, Cindy says, “I have lifelong examples of how Dad makes people feel special…I’ve watched him time after time get down on eye level with children and tell them that they are winners. I’ve watched him stand in line for hours autographing books and patiently listening to people’s stories. I‘ve seen how he makes each person feel special and important. I’ve read countless letters from people who have received hand written letters from Dad and were amazed that he took the time to write them. He’s sent his books and tapes to people in need…
“My hope is that I remember the way Dad has treated people his entire life and integrate that into my role in Customer Service here at Ziglar.”
